Bergs Municipality is looking for a Property Manager

who wants to take responsibility for and develop the management of our municipal properties, housing, and industrial premises. As a property manager with us, you will play an important role in ensuring sustainable and efficient management of our properties while contributing to creating an attractive living environment and a well-functioning business structure.

We have an organizational form where all employees are employed by the municipality, and the properties we work with are owned by Bergs Hyreshus AB.

Responsibilities

As a property manager, you will:

Be responsible for ongoing management and ensure that the properties maintain high standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Plan and follow up on construction and renovation projects.
Plan maintenance, repairs, and renovations of the properties.
Work with tenants and suppliers, manage contracts, and follow up on agreements.
Budget and monitor finances and costs for the property portfolio.
Work with other units in the municipality to optimize the use of properties and contribute to the municipality's long-term development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education in property management or other equivalent education/experience. You have experience managing both residential and commercial properties. You also need to have good knowledge of finance, contracts, and property-related legislation.

Experience working in a municipal organization, knowledge of procurement and contract management, and experience with LOU property management systems are advantageous.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we consider knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture as an advantage.
